Key Features:

• Prevents contractions of the facial muscles
• Creates a smoother-looking appearance
• Used to temporarily soften the appearance of facial wrinkles
• BOTOX may also be used in the treatment of severe hyperhidrosis

Treatment Areas:

• Moderate to severe vertical lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines)
• Moderate to severe lateral canthal lines (crow’s feet lines)
• Moderate to severe forehead lines in adult patients.
• Under the arms in the treatment of severe hyperhidrosis

*Please note, when treating primary hyperhidrosis of the axillae:

Medical history and physical examination, along with specific additional investigations as required, should be performed to exclude potential causes of secondary hyperhidrosis, such as hyperthyroidism and phaeochromocytoma. This will avoid symptomatic treatment of hyperhidrosis without the diagnosis and/or treatment of underlying disease.*

Composition:

•  Clostridium botulinum toxin type A, 200 units. Human serum albumin (EP) 0.5 mg. Sodium Chloride (USP) 0.5 mg 0.9 mg.

Contraindications of Botox:

• Known hypersensitivity to botulinum toxin type A or to any of the excipients
• Presence of infection at the proposed injection site(s)

Who Should Not Use Botox?

• Those who are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Those who have a neurological disease
• Those allergic to cow’s milk protein.
• Those with neuromuscular disorders
• Those with poor general health
• Those with sensitive skin

Storage:

• Store in a refrigerator at 2–8°C
