Plenhyage is a sterile, one use product that belongs to the new concept of regenerative medicine: it promotes cell turnover, improves skin elasticity and hydration and promotes healing of sun-damaged skin, photoaging and scars (acne).
The polynucleotide chain, in addition to attracting water molecules, has an anti-free radical action, acting as a scavenger of OH hydroxyl radicals which tend to accumulate as a result of stress, cell damage and external agents such as UV rays. The moisturizing action and the anti-free radical activity help to create an optimal environment for the growth of fibroblasts, promoting the restoration of tissue elasticity.
The product contains high molecular weight polynucleotide chains whose biochemical characteristics make it highly viscoelastic and capable of binding and orienting in space a considerable quantity of water molecules, which are mainly retained at the level of the hydrophilic groups of the phosphorylated sugars of the individual nucleotides.
