Iopidine® 5mg/ml Eye Drops (5ml) contain apraclonidine hydrochloride 5mg/ml, an alpha-2 adrenergic agonist that works by reducing the production of aqueous humour and increasing its outflow, helping to lower intraocular pressure.
Iopidine is indicated for the short-term management of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with glaucoma or ocular hypertension and is commonly used before and after ophthalmic laser surgery to reduce the risk of post-procedure increases in eye pressure.
The sterile ophthalmic solution is supplied in a 5ml multidose bottle for topical ocular administration. Treatment should be used exactly as prescribed by a healthcare professional.
